Friday night transformed Scenius Hub from the compound of good English and serious Arabic into the heartbeat of South Sudan’s entertainment scene raining dollars as Ziko celebrated ten remarkable years in comedy. The evening was filled with laughter, music, surprises, and moments that made every attendee feel part of a truly special occasion and of course the most important if honored, pledges and money.
The Central Equatoria State Minister of Information, Nyarsuk Patrick presented a contribution of $200 a gesture that shook David Kumuri, the national security spokesperson in a good way leading him to pledge a piece of land in Luri and $1,000 for the slim comedian.
Cirisio Zakaria Ladu, Minister of General Education (CES) and other notable guests also made their pledges now pending the collection.
Fans, media personalities, celebrities, and government officials gathered not merely to watch a show, but to honor a man who has spent a decade bringing joy, reflection, and relief from everyday life through his comedy. The stage came alive with outstanding performances from Suzy Nadu, Franko Lokunyumi, Comedian Talento, Comedian Wokil, HardlLife Avenue Stars, Lil Diamond, and other celebrated entertainers. The atmosphere was vibrant, the energy electric, and the admiration for Ziko unmistakable.
For ten years, the standup comedian has done more than entertain, he has inspired and natured raw talents, connected hearts and reminded the nation that comedy has the power to unite and uplift. On this night, the nation celebrated him in return.
