The show that aims to connect single people searching for love is produced by Poni Abraham who doubles as the host. Still in its first season, Gifted has sent more missiles that would make Isreal feel they are just joking with Iran.
The vocal tailor, sorry designer claims the show does not serve its purpose since the characters are either relatives, in relationships or even married. In a lengthy Facebook post he says
“In real dating shows, strangers are carefully matched to find genuine love through deep conversations, emotional connection, and real chemistry and some even end in marriages. But here? It’s a joke. A so-called “dating show” where siblings and friends who have been eating and being eaten before the show being put in front of cameras just to chase clout.
People already in relationships, engaged and even married, pretending to fall in love for likes, not love. What should be about finding true partners has turned into a cheap fame game. Damn…Just imagine a copied concept with zero originality, produced by someone hopping from one failed hustle to another.
This isn’t matchmaking in fact it’s a family reunion with fake storylines. South Sudan deserves better content than this mess yajama.
