The singing Amphibian and South Sudan’s music heavy weight -John Frog is on the cusp of writing history and become the first Artiste to hold a concert at the FIFA renovated Juba National Stadium.
Frog known for singing in bars, weddings and friend’s parties seems to have been reeling in pain over the failure to hold his own concert for all his active years of existence as a musician until he said ‘no, I have to do something different this year’.
For an artiste who has had hit collaborations with superstars and performed at bigger venues, it is rumored that each time an international artiste asks the Guondo Sakit hit maker for the records of his past concerts, he holds his chest in pain, sighs heavily and points to the skies and murmurs ‘God is great’.
The never-ending chest pains is said to have been the main driving force for this concert and long do we hope it comes to pass so that the boys can have a sigh of relief not pain this time.
However, a leap from bars to a stadium is nothing for the weak but his manager is not fazed “We chose the stadium because of the quantity of our fans, who are plenty in number. There was no hall that could accommodate them” the manager boldly stated.
Over the years,Froggy Froggy has been caught in several beefs and scandals with fellow musicians, fueling rivalries that have often raised more dust that Torit Road.
Many are eager to see if this concert will mark a turning point in his career. Will his past beefs affect the event? Or will he use this stage to bring unity to the music industry? Whatever happens, one thing is for sure, the stadium’s virginity will be tested and proven by the Gwondo Gang boss.
